PAD Plus Success in Periodontal Treatment
UK dentist Steve Barlin and his hygienist are having great success using PAD Plus to treat recalcitrant pockets. They both decided to use it routinely for those patients who, despite good oral hygiene, still have active pockets that do not respond to debridement. They now have 5 cases where they can definitely measure reduction in pocket depths and see a marked reduction in bleeding. Steve says, “The great beauty of PAD Plus is that it is non-invasive and cannot do any harm.”

...less intervention with the patient particularly in the sense that you’re not bombarding them with antibiotics all the time. PAD allows you to short-circuit that using Photo-Activated Disinfection to deal with the localised infection and it does work in root canal treatment.
