Prophylaxis

1. Perform routine cleaning and scaling
2. Syringe the PAD™ Plus solution into the gingival crevice/pockets of one sextant; leave for 60s. while gently agitating.solution in the crevice.
3. Position light guide 1mm above the interproximal area of each pair of teeth so that the top of the gingival coll is beneath the upper margin of the light guide.
4. Illuminate each interproximal space from both buccal and palatal/lingual aspects following the sequence shown by red dots above.
5. Flush away solution after treatment with sterile water or equivalent.
6. Repeat procedure in each sextant . Note. Each syringe contains sufficient solution to disinfect at least one arch
